Someone said there was an M-18 under the bridge. I had just
finished delivering supplies with an M-3 and thought I would have a go at
killing the M-18. I pulled up behind him and started firing at his turret. It smoked
before he could get it around and then I pointed at his six and took out his engine which
he had just started up. I continued to fire at his six and BOOM he blew up....LOL.
I had no idea at the time if I could pull it off, but it worked. I'll probably never sneak
up on a M-18 ever again. The guy I killed is a really good tanker and I know he'll get
payback a hundred times over. <S> Elk !

I was marking a tiger with my ponyd for the guys in the ground so I fired all my rockets in a hurry due to fighter planes coming after me, as I pulled up somebody said, "great marking, tiger is dead "

I dig attacking a base where ords are down, and they're upping B-25H's. I think I'm something like 10-1 against them in my T-34 last couple of tours...

Killing a 262 with an osti recently in the AvA. Was a lot of fun and quite satisfying.

I killed some poor guy dropping a 1k bomb from 20K+ when engaging another fighter and dumped it. Didn't even realize I was near a GV base. Talking about bad luck, that guy had it :lol

One of my most memorable kills vs another gv happened about a month ago.
I upped a King Tiger at a port after a report of "a lot of tanks are inbound to Port XYZ", I rolled out and went near the center of the field and stopped on the concrete, pivoted in place putting my front towards the enemy spawn, and shut off the engine. About that time I spotted a round inbound from waaaaay out there. I zoomed in and saw the culprit: a stationary enemy Panther (or so I thought). Using the German "mili-radian" sight I gauged the enemy tank to be about 3600 yards out and slightly elevated from my position. I fired and watched the shot arc out towards the target, got up and made a sammich and grabbed another beer real quick like, and sat back down in time to see the round impact dead square on the frontal armor followed by a flash and a plume of black smoke. Immediately following the impact a message in the chat bar popped up saying "You shot down prowl3r". As I tried to gather my thoughts on what just happened, I get a PM from prowl3r himself giving kudos to the nice "long range 1 shot kill vs a King Tiger".
I've made some very long shots properly using the mili-radian sight, but that one is the furthest and the best (and most lucky) considering the distance and being "first shot on target".

I was out cruising near an enemy spawn in a Jeep when I spotted a Panzer headed toward our base. I got perfectly on his six then set speed so I was gaining on him slowly and jumped into my .50 cal. As I got close I opened fire at the engine area of his tank and killed him before he knew what happened.
Inspired I drove to the spawn and parked. I killed two M3's and something else I don't remember then drove home and landed my four kill Jeep mission.

Killing three tanks (two panzers and WW) while being chase in a dive by La-7. Epic four kill win......Oh, and +1,500 GVs I killed.

Trying to take a port, and only had one Wirble protecting it. I was the only plane in the area. Flying a F4UD, I had one rocket left. Fired it, and hit the WW dead on, instant kill and we got the port. Was very happy about it.

Simjoe ace was camping in a hanger. Took my F6 and tossed an egg right through the front door. BOOM

Best shot I witnessed was chugamug in an m4 on a hill. I parked my m4 inside one of the grey blown up houses in the valley at 3.2k away and we traded more than a few shots, me firing out the small window of the house. After a few rounds traded back and forth he put a round clean thru the window and killed my m4, not turreted, killed. I thought that was pretty good shooting in matched tanks.

I once scored a fantastic kill on an enemy tank at more than 6,000 yards away - with only 3(!) shots!. *BANG*.... I went to tower. I had killshot myself on a friendly waaaayyyyy out of icon range who was camping the spawn. :bhead
Too bad I could never reproduce this feat with an actual enemy :(

Well here is one of my favorites that happened last night:
I up a Wirbel at a field that is under heavy Rook attack and start driving towards the town. I kill 4 planes on my way to town making it about half way there before they capture it. It's an island so there is nowhere to run to so I fight it out! The multiple planes finally get my turret but I still have my hull gun. I see an enemy LVT driving to the field from town, so I lay into it! After firing 800+ .30 cal rounds into him I get his engine. By this time I am taking tank fire from two M-18's that upped from the VH. So I get this idea....The LVT's engine is out and he is just sitting there, so why don't I use him as a shield from the two M-18's firing at me? So I drive behind him with nothing but my turret exposed to enemy fire. Well sure enough one of the M-18's shoots at me and hits the LVT and I get the kill! Well the LVT driver figured out he was a shield for me so he finally bailed and I got my 6th and final kill. The remaining enemy GV's closed and shot me to pieces. This is what AH is all about, pure unadulterated chaotic fun! :aok

One time dr7 killed me a good dozen times at a spawn camp. Once I was sure of his location, I upped a plane and bombed him. While my K/D ratio vs. dr7 is probably 20:1 in his favor, those few kills I have on him make it all worth it :)
Nothing against him personally, he's a good dude!

I also got an M-18 with an M3... I smoked his turret and we went around in circles till he blew up. Of course, I too have been kilt by an M3 in an M-18.. went flying over a hill and there he was... :O

My favorite GV kill was an M8 v. Tiger 1. The Tiger was inbound to a V-base so I decided to up an M8 and try to flank him. I snuck around to his left side and waited in ambush. When he passed in front of me I started to pump rounds into the left side of his turret in hopes of knocking it out. After about 6 or 7 rounds I saw the smoke and realized I had been successful. I then moved in behind him and pumped round after round into the engine compartment, eventually he went "boom."
This was a few years ago and I don't think this is possible anymore. I used to love to run around a spawn and knock out turrets, but now it seems like I'm just throwing mud pies with the M8.

My favorite was several versions of AH ago. I had spawned into an area and was making may way to a base up a hill and someone kept upping a tank.
and came to try and kill me.
Normally one of my favorite things to do is find a hill to hide behind and wait for them to drive past me then slatter em. But in this case the terrain was relitively open and I could see him comming and he me from a long way off. the view was different back then and at least for me I had a better sense of depth of distance and range then we have now even at much closer ranges. And could easily score kills from a relatively long range.
Having scored several kills on the guy already he upped an M8 Im guessing figuring being a faster target he'd be harder to hit. I knew I could get several shots off well before I would be in range of his guns to aim accurately. Just for chuckles I went to full elevation. As in can only see the sky and fired in his general direction. I watched with amazement as the round arc and come down right on top of his fast moving M8. Pure luck. yea But funny as hell
He stopped upping after that

My favorite GV kill was a 2k kill in a t34 of a Lanc. He was dropping the town quick and he happened to be turning so I led him a little and POW he took an AP round in the tail. After i got the confirmed kill he Pm's me and asked what type of stealth plane I was flying. I informed him it was a t34 that got him, he called BS and I PMed him the film. He was extremely surprised I got him from that far away.
Then I have an instance where someone tried to HO my Sherman in a b25, well all I can say is .... he lost.

Best for me was when I upped to see what was flashing a Vbase in my trusty T34/76. Some brave tanker had upped a Kingtiger to a spawn and had ranged the base. We had 2-3 others on the base taking shots but the KT was slowing killing them. I had done some offline testing so I knew that the KT could be killed by a t34/76 but you had to close to 50ft and lay 2-3 rounds of HVAP into the Ironcross.
So I raced out of the base and moved to flank the KT. After 2 mins of driving I was heading on his 3o'clock. At about 300 ft I spotted a Panzer driving up to cover the KTs 9o'clock... I fired into the KT... first shot knocking out his turrent. Hoping he did not have supplies I targeted the panzer I could see between the trees and killed him. The KT now started his motor and tried to turn his frontal armor towards me. I had one more clear shot on his turrent side before I would have had to move and flank him. I fired... and watched his turrent fly into the air.

Favorite kill(s) would have to be when I took out a panzer IV with my M8, then a Panther, followed by 3 Il2's and a pair of B25's.

Think my best GV action was on the map where there's water in the middle, and V11, A10 etc - generally whoever gets the right side of the map has a massive 24/7 furball.
Bishops took V50 and were going to attack A51, where there's a very high ridge line with a short drive to the water, which means any tanks have to go through the narrow gap to get to the base. I put my Panther on top of the ridge with 10 boxes of sups and just started firing.
All the hangers were down and a handful of defenders tried their best, while being PM'ed about "camping" a spawn from 3k away, we managed to hold out until the hangers came back up and the base was saved, I ended up getting bombed by a lone v-tard diving from 15k for one tank.
Probably best fight I had this year, camping or not 5 guys faced over 20 and survived some how.

Not really, I landed over 7 in an M3 or Lvt (all fighters) it depends the angle of attack and how smart the opponent is.
If any of them were decent opponents or just not being lazy, it takes a high angle rear 6 attack to kill an LVT with almost no ammo.

In my case Idk wtf happened but the tanks spawning were shooting at me like crazy but somehow missing @ point blank range and shooting each other while trying to shoot me. When a shot finally hit it didn't even kill me, just knocked me under the port where I continued to machine gun them from below.
