Will remain at what its been in the past: 8PM PACIFIC and 11PM EST.
This is due to a few things. Firstly without moving the time by a full hour there seems little point to it, FSO has had the same time start for many years, and several players have indicated that they cannot make the new time :( . All of the SEA events in AH start on the hour as well and I want to keep FSO within that regime.
From the outset my only intention was to try and make things better for the players involved and after attempting to get a new consensus and moving the time up by 30 minutes for every few that it pleased it inconvenienced the same number.
I will not be exploring any time changes to FSO again on my watch as FSO Team Lead. It's a closed matter to me.
Will cya all in the New Year at the same time as before. I will be expecting the frame starts to get under way promptly at the top of the hour. So don't be late. ;)
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody! drive safe out there. :salute

I am sure this is bad news for some, but I like the traditionalism. It has worked for years, it should work now.

Hmm it did? :headscratch: Maybe should of moved it an hour then, since that poll showed something completely contrary to what you are saying.
Oh well. :(

Well let's just say that it was not a really clear cut poll. some didnt want a change, more wanted a change and even more didnt care. Also it gathered, IIRC, about 160 vote. About half the attendance.
Also (but I could be wrong), I did not see anyone post saying they now could make FSO, quite the contrary. I can easily see why. It make it really early for the west coasters. For me, going to bed at midnight or 1am does not make a big difference. I'll be tired the next morning when the little one wake up either way.
I personaly think it was the just decision. If it aint broke, dont fix it.
