I bet he doesnt have as much cash as one might think.  He just may not have any debt, no bills, no responsibilities.  The biggest expense to going a lot of those places if the airfare.  The lodging in most of those places is dirt cheap.  This guy could work his tail off at home for 3-4 months, save up, and then travel for a week at a time.

Also at the end on the video there was a "special thanks to stride gum for making this possible." So it could have been something stride funded for promotion of their gum.
