Title: Breesus
Post by: Spikes on December 26, 2011, 11:09:29 PM
Takes over Marino's record of 27 years for the single season passing record. Just want to say congrats. He came close in 2008 by 15 or so yards, now he has done it.

And Saints are NFC South champions.

Who dat!

Drew Brees was in my major when he attended Purdue.  My Facebook consisting of Purdue fans practically blew up with Brees pride when he set the record.  Today is an unofficial wear Brees jersey day.

And as a Lions fan, I'd like to thank the Saints for putting the Lions in position to avoid playing the Saints in the first round of the playoffs.  Just need the Pack to play along and lie down in week 17.

The 49ers have no offense and the Lions were one play away from beating them.  Whereas the Lions games against the Saints and Packers weren't very close.  I definitely think the Niners have slipped and the Saints and Packers are the class of the division (and the class of the NFL, the AFC has no team close).  I'm tempted to say the Saints look better than anyone right now, but the Packers have played one of the toughest schedules in football and only lost once in a game they didn't really need anyways.  If it comes down to Saints-Pack, and it probably will, it will be a game for the ages.
