Title: map rotation wish
Post by: caldera on December 29, 2011, 09:38:50 AM
Can all maps stay up at least last 48 hours, even if reset?  Seems like the base taking crowd steamrolls through the smaller maps in a day (sometimes only a few hours) or less and now Trinity is back for another mandatory one week engagement.  :(

Maybe make the small maps require more fields to reset?

This.

20% makes sense on large, 150+ base maps. On some small maps, that's like only 4 bases per country.

Sounds good, but the current percentage setting for "winning a map" is an arena setting, not a map setting.

I think Trinity is one of the best maps we have right now.
People can't steamroll it in a day, and it has a good balance of all types of combat.

Every map has good and bad points.  My point in this thread, is that the other maps are gone much too fast.  I'd wager Trinity is up significantly more cumulative time than any other map in the rotation.  Personal favorite maps like Pizza, are sometimes gone before I even get a chance to play on them.

+1 I think that for the tiny maps the "percentage to win" should be adjusted

i'm sure hitech and pyro could figure out how to change it :)
