Engaged this bunch while they were flying 4 ship of P-47s last week. They displayed great tactics and teamwork getting the most out of their Jugs.
If you like smart tactical flying I'd definitely look for a slot with these guys.  :aok

Well I really wanted to like the Corsair but it seems to be an awfully delicate bird in AH.
Tour ribbon awarded to pilots flying in 25% or more of the tour.

That was a fun little mission last night. I got 2 kills and dont think we lost a single plane. It's all about teamwork. Great fun!

We are starting a separate campaign with The Top Gun squad on Saturday evening. So this opens up about four spots in the Luftwaffe, on Sunday night for anyone interested in flying in a historically base campagin with no enemy icons and limited friendly icons. Good luck with your squad ! Back in 2000 I started a 78th fg  in Aces High 1. The group apealed to me because they flew the P38, P51, and of course my favorite the P47. I was not any  good at organizing or recruiting members I think I had 4 guys in total.

Tks! Funny but that is one of the reasons we picked it as well. Too bad they never flew the P38 in combat.

I am not very experienced, but I'm not a total noob, and I love flying the more realistic missions and special events.  I've not been in a squad yet, but I would definitely like to fly with you guys and check it out.

Been knowing Trukk for many years and he is a heck of a guy to wing with. The rest of the guys in the 78th aren't too bad either; especially that Shifty looking fellow over in the corner.

Great group and the Best!!! at Bomber escort. The 78th has saved many a bomber and their use of team work and coordinated operations ensure they are going to get the kills.... We never fly without them escorting us.

Yeap I have had the privlage of flying with Trukk Tango and Hawkeye on and off since 2003 in Many games they along with the rest of the pilots in the 78th are very good and always use good team work.

Here's Why Critter was KIA on our 2nd Mission last Night....  Trying to evade....
 I was Watching the Flak Burst coming in from the V Base... tracking both Critter & I..... I had one Burst take out my LT landing gear....." Critter, We'd better SKeeedaddle out... it's getting Close"....  he went BOOOOM... No warning.... just Pieces left over.  <<S>> Critter

Shifty & Hawk78 were Tangling  with Numerous Bogies over their V Base..... We saw the Zeek coming... we both had a couple of passes on him...., So I threw out some Flaps.... Barrel Rolled onto the Zeek.... & He flew Thru all of my 50 Cals..... with this Pic as a result...
