I have killed fighters attacking my bombers, several times.
In the roster score card it shows zero fighter kills. I play mostly Mid War.
Why?
I think this is also true in my Late War sorties.

I second that... I often see "so and so has X kills in a B-17"... but when I get kills in a bomber, it doesn't seem to register. :headscratch:

Fighter kills are kills you get while in a fighter and having selected "Fighter" for scoring in the hanger.
There is no score accounting for any kills, vehicles or planes, while flying a bomber. Your goal in bombers is to get to your target, hit it, and land.
You do get a scoring message in the text buffer for two or more kills, but they do not "count" in scores or ranking.
Here is the Help page that explains scoring: Link>> (http://www.hitechcreations.com/Help-Section/Aces-High-Features/aces-high-help-scoring.html)

If you look on your score page on website you will find bomber kills.

Ok, to clear up the confusion:
Kills of fighters in a bomber do indeed not show up on the score card in game. But this is a kind of glitch, as they do show up on youre score card on the webpage. For GV kills in bombers the situation is reversed, they show up on score in game, but not on webpage.
Note however that they still do not have any impact on your score, as there is no "kill" or "kill points" category for bombers.
But no matter what, no kills are "lost" in any way, as all of them, regardless what you have killed and by which means, do show up on the Pilot Statistics Webpage.
Happy New Year! :old:
