Yes. My friend showed me 2 episodes, since I don't knock anything until I try it. (That's why I read the first 2 twilight books; to be able to criticize them in depth) It wasn't that good at all, which makes it even more confusing why all these 14-20+ year old basement dwellers think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

No no no, you can't just watch 2 episodes and then judge it. It's alot more complicated and in-depth than that.

Buster, you should consider watching an episode. It's alot better than the girly crap that was burned into our minds during the 80's and 90's. This My Little Pony, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, is made for a more general audience. The ponies are more likable, with widespread personalities; they confront more mature challenges and problems, and the main 6 characters range anywhere from 14-25 years of age (roughly speaking).

I fail to see the point your tryin to make here. No one is going to force you to watch the show. and In my opinion the Army is ruining itself (and that's as far as Ill go with that.) Now just because your Grandkids one of which I'm sure still thinks girls are yucky and a girl who thinks shes grown beyond needing a cartoon show to watch, are a deciding factor for ya well that is your choice and wont influence mine. and I'm 100% sure that being "fruity" isn't one of the requirements to enjoy a well written and drawn cartoon. A girl horse is called a Mare. "pony" is a size measurement, I think its either smaller than 14 or 15 hands. I cant remember.

While I've never watched my little ponies... I can at least respect a grown adult watching cartoons. Avatar: The Last Air Bender is hillarious, and I didn't start watching that until a few months back. Rocco and Spongebob are right up there with Beavis and Butthead and Frisky Dingo for me.
One time we were at a pool party, and a buddy and I were inside watching cartoons while the food cooked and the kids swam. This lady walks in and says, "Oh my god... you're grown bellybutton men watching cartoons?!" like there was something wrong with it, so I told her to shutup and called her a Dumb C-Word, and everyone laughed.
The power of laughter is an amazing thing.
That being said, if I want to feel secure in my mascuilinity I'll get baked and watch Sailor Moon.

And it is a good show something you can come in no serious plot, you know how it'll end and funny characters.
and that is the point folks are missing here, what other reason do you need for watching cartoons.
We all have to be kids at one point and some of us enjoy the little things in life more than others.
