you talking about trees flipping gvs? cause i cant make my gv flip anymore when coming near a tree. I have been trying to do it on purpose and it doesnt flip. which is weird because before i just looked at a tree and my tank would be upside down.

In basic training at Fort Knox we all watched in horror as a trainee/tent peg somehow lost control of an M60A3 going about 5 mph. He hit a pine tree that was somewhere between 25-30 feet tall. There was a gawdawful sound and then ten thousand matchsticks break with one massive snap as this dang big tree snapped. About this time the rocket scientist driving the tank figured how to stop it, helped that the DS had climbed down to the 'hole' and was screaming and hitting him. He backed up as the tree mostly fell over, held up at an angle by other trees.
He was pulled out of the hole and made to do squat thrusts in about 12"s of muddy water. Why he did that another DS finished knocking it over then demonstrated the power of the tank by running over the felled tree several times, turning it into kindling wood. Awesome though the splitting sound of the wood under such weight went right through you. Neat.
Admitted the M60A3 weighs roughly 60 tons, pretty accurate for the Tiger and not too far off for the Panther. The thoughts of a tree winning that fight is just arcade game stuff with little reality.

I can understand the change needed to stop tanks from flipping on hills to easily, but trees are solid for a reason. All to many times I hide behind trees for cover, rather then get blown apart.
True they are annoyance just like sheep were, but at least they only stop you rather then a small inclined hill which can easily flip a 50 ton tank.
Not sure how that can be fixed, but hopefully one day they will figure something out for the tanks and hill issue.
Or maybe the Shadows - if you sitting on a small hill with the sun behind you - the shadow completely blocks out your gunsight and you can't see anything due to the shadow.

Actually AH said that the trees are genetically bred 6" Super oak saplings that help stop a runaway 50 ton tank going downhill. the bushes are Ironwood thickets.
