Used to be able to do this, can it be fixed to where inactive/deleted accounts automatically be removed from the roster? Or at least give us the old option to remove them if they are gone? Thx.
-
I was going to ask skuzzy to remove the two that I can't, it returns the error "Game ID doesn't exist" yet they still sit on the squad roster.
-
Arent you inactive?

nope.

I have the same issue with 2 people not playing I cannot eject them. What is the fix for this?
-
Email Skuzzy and supply the squad name, CO name, and the names of the players you need to remove.
-
Thanks for the info Dot much appreciated!

Is that the new policy? We had the ability to eject anyone at any time up until just a few months ago. Kind of handcuffs squad management if you can't eject inactive players.

It happended to my FSO squad last year when we tried to clean house of guys who haven't been seen in a long time. Skuzzy said it was a bug they thought was squashed long ago. I think there's something about if they're gone from the database (like they stopped paying and cancelled their sub) but were still attached to a squad at the time.
-
Just a quess. May have somthing to do with how long they have been gone and how many updates to game since then. May need to clean house more often.
-
It sure would be convenient if players who delete their accounts were automatically removed from all in game affiliations. Since you cannot reactivate a deleted account, idk why this isn't the case already.

Doubt it would be hard to fix.

easiest thing to do is disband the squad at the end of the tour and create a new one and invite everybody back.

Nope, the easiest thing is to do what I suggested and email Skuzzy. Otherwise, you have to do a lot of work and you're forcing your squaddies to rejoin - don't know about you, but your suggestion doesn't sound easier than mine. ;)
-
Well this is in the Bug Reports section for a reason Imadot.
-
Yep, but unless you want to wait until the bug is fixed to clean up your roster...
Well, you're free to work around the bug as you see fit; I only made a suggestion as to a course of action.

I bet it sounds easier to Skuzzy :D

Yeah that's what we will have to do, thx, but the point is, it's just a pain in the arse for both us and skuzzy if we and other squads are going to be emailing him once every couple months asking him to remove guys.
