Title: What if
Post by: AHTbolt on January 12, 2012, 08:20:44 AM
What if in the wish list forum you wished for plane X and Hitech posted that if you want plane X the development cost is say 2000.00. Would you or a group of like minded get togeather and pay the cost to get plane X.

Has development cost ever been the issue that prevented the addition of an aircraft? HTC continually adds new aircraft for no extra charge. You would prefer the players with deep pockets to decide what is added next? How is that a good idea?

The plane X wouldent be VIP but just added to game. Example would you pay the cost to get the beaufighter in the game.

I would pay to see certain planes added.

I'm happy with the plane selection we have now. Any plane added is just a new toy.

OTOH I'd pay for game play changes that did away with hordes and 4 wing squads.

Yes, always.  Cost in $ and time (which translates to $) is considered in every business decision.  If these aircraft were free HT would have them all implemented by now.

It was only a question.  But even if it was an idea, the OP never said that "that" would be the only way to add new planes so don;t worry, them deep pocket people will not decide anything  :lol

The AH staff has ther hands full every day just running the game but they fit updates working on the beta and trying to keep us prima donnas happy. Was just asking if HiTech looked at the wishlist and looked at there development plate of planes and upgrades and said if you want plane X here is the cost to have it developed and put ingame using a freelance developer. As long as it met game requirments would you do it for plane X.

The educational system in Texas never fails to amaze me.

When I was in school and traveled the country. The further north you went, the further the schools were behind. Made it hard to go to school in Michigan for a couple of months then come back to Texas and have to catch up to the rest of the class.

We already tried this with the P-61 several plus years ago.  I had offered $2000 of Ripsnorts wage earnings.  Even got a bite from Pyro IIRC, but HiTech never committed.

HiTech may consider it if you bribe him with a case of his favorite scotch.
