Title: Loose rudder
Post by: Midway on January 15, 2012, 06:19:10 PM
I noticed that my joystick controls, esp the rudder, are very bouncy when I log in sometimes.  Every time that happens, I log out and log back in again and the problem is solved.  I calibrate before I log in the first time, and also calibrate in game when I log in each time.

So, if my controls feel lose, I just relog and they're fine.  Don't understand why that happens or if there is a way to prevent the lose feel to the joystick some other way.  I have a LogicTech Extreme 3D Pro.  If others have the problem, try relogging.

If that Logitec is around 6 months old, or older, then it is probably time to replace it.  They get pretty flaky.

It is and I will then.  I have the two year guarantee from BestBuy so replacements are free.  :D

Not exactly, that policy changed for me - I was allowed one replacement per 6 months for a year - I even had the extended warranty.

/Best Buy was nice while they lasted, hence why its time to upgrade to a real stick
