Survived 3-5 bombings, was resuped twice because i ran out/damaged and then right at the end again because i needed 3 more rounds after getting assists.
Thanks to all the rooks that supported my 100 kills. AND THANKS TO ALL OF THE BISH YOU CAME INTO THE V85 SPAWN BATTLE TO GIVE ME 100 KILLS!!!! :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute :salute

not really, though I willl admit, it did turn that way at the very end. Both sides had about an equal number of tanks there the entire time. It for once(well twice, since the prior map had an even bigger one going) was a spawn battle, not just one side camping the other. Plus, for the first 70 kills i was right out in the open on the front lines where i could have been easily killed and was nearly so multiple times.
lol next time im thinking a panzer F... if i had done that sorty in that, then i probably would have easily made 200-400 perks, which you can see im lacking...
But thanks guys... It was the first time i got to land anything over 54, though i once did have 87 in the old panzer once but got killed as i was going to land.

there are only 3 spots on the tiger that can be penetrated by an M8. I doubt it.

I'm jealous, not because you got 100 kills in the panther, but because I can't even survive one shot to the front quarter while in my panther. (I'm serious, look what you just pulled, and WTF is up with my method/strategy/game!?) :cry

no, it was only about 3-4min. By the time i was at 80 kills i had moved up to the bridge overlooking the spawn because i was just gonna land with the 80 i had, but i decided to chance it and go for the 100. So from there it was only a 3 min drive.
That is because they did not fly the P-47D-25 to get you. :D
lol i had much worse coming at me. I had 1-2 F6f's dive bomb me. Both times both bombs bracketed me either to each side or infront or behind me. Then a F4u came in and i started driving away. This one almost got me. I heard some damage being done, but nothing to prevent me from moving or firing.
Then came in a set of lancs that were targeting me specifically. At this point was when i was leaving for the bridge. Then following in the lancs were a set of 24's. Plus there was a 25h that came in prior to the lancs, but he didnt drop on me. He did try to use his main gun on me, which i then proceeded to shoot him down lol.
I'm jealous, not because you got 100 kills in the panther, but because I can't even survive one shot to the front quarter while in my panther. (I'm serious, look what you just pulled, and WTF is up with my method/strategy/game!?) :cry
lol, i know what you mean... Its literally hit and miss (pun intended) with the panthers. I used to have like a 1000 tank perks until they introduced it. Some sorties you survive lots of hits, some u get killed by t3476's...

I didnt film the sorty itself, but a squady filmed me landing. I was too affraid to start recording because in the past, i have started the recording only to get discoed lol. Hmmm "100 Kill Club" or "Viginti-Ace Club (20 times ace)"

I mean I had fun, I kept upping... But popping tanks over and over again from your camp ground shouldn't get you accolades. IMO

For the bish though, they were spawning both in the trees and out in the open, same as the rooks. Every time i spawned in before this sorty, i was always out towards the beach on the upper flat part visible to all spawning bish and bish that were already spawned. Overall, i would say it was 60-40 favoring the rooks, however not for me.
For that sorty though, i was out in the open the entire time and was an easy target. You guys were spawning in looking right at me and everyone else requiring no big movement of the turret probably 80% of the time. Also, due to lag, abut 75% of the time, the bish were spawning in and firing before i even saw them. It wasnt until i got up to the bridge that any bish had to actually turn their turret to shoot at me.
I was just lucky enough to not get whacked but there was tons of rooks around me that were getting killed.

lol thats the truth. it was after 71 that i started to get really nervous. That was right when all the bombs started falling from the carrier that was parked east of the base and the lancs and 24's came in. To top it off, i had rooks telling me they were gonna switch sides and come get me lol. That was when i called out to squaddies to come over and get a cap going for me lol. One rook was even "spotting" me to the enemy with his aircraft.

Im a one upper... Last Night, AAPumba landed his 100 kills in his Tiger2. At that point i had about 50 and we all were talking about landing 100 prior and how people didnt believe me when i said i did it in Mid Jan...
So... I set a new personal best... 110 kills. Got a total of 60.69 perks for it.
At the begining it was truely a spawn battle. In fact i lost 15 panthers straight b4 i could get out of the spawn. But finally i did and got in a spot where i could handel the 15 people all spawning in. However by about 60 kills it turned into more of a camp and then at the very end it went down to just a few people coming in.

In total last night, i got 529 gv kills.

it doesn't matter where in the game it is,,once you hit 50 plus and decide to go for 100,,, the whole game changes!!! the pressure is unreal!!! but very fun!!!

I've bagged 150 along with another 100 with a squadie landing 100 at the same time, Its no easy task - generally you kill the wrong person and he will bomb right away. I was tracked trying to run home, side hull exposed on a panther, some how deflected 9 rounds and made it home..
Bet you were sweating like a pig :)

Oh I've been in spawn fights lately.... it can be intense but for me the fun would wane quickly if I got out of the fight and climbed to a perch and just picked those fighting in the actual battle. Planes or tanks... no real difference. When in the actual fight it can be a blast but you'll need lots of tank parts. lol

If he had a lot of fun doing it, I don't see what the problem is. Especially since most tank battles usually reside close to spawns and inevitably end up on top of spawns. Either way, it is still very impressive. I've only seen 100+ kills in tanks landed a handful of times.

the spawns for the two bases were literally on top of each other. There were multiple times when I spawned in and they would spawn in behind me and killed me. As for my location, once I finally got out of the open spawn, I was able to get towards the side of our spawn. But I was still only 600 yards away and Was still in the open, just not directly in front of them as they spawned. multiple times I almost got killed from rounds coming from places I could not see. Had to be repaired a couple times too.
I ended up losing two tiger 1s before even moving and about 15-20 panthers and then about 40 panzers and t34s prior to that sorty.
