Title: Spifire internal tanks fuel distribution
Post by: prono on January 22, 2012, 05:24:31 PM
When upping with 25, 50 or 75% fuel only spitfires take same % of fuel to each tank they have. Other planes have tanks filled with reverse order they use them in flight.
Example : P-47 loaded with 75% fuel takes 100% main and 10 % aux. Spitfire 8 takes 75% to each four tanks it has.  :headscratch:

I'm not exactly sure why they did that but I don't think it's a bug.

yeah ive noticed that, definitely not right.

also you shouldnt be able to drain the lower (labelled Aux) tank first (although I doubt anyone does this), as its gravity fed from the upper tank.

I don't even see a reason why you would want to drain the bottom tank first. Bottom is self sealing and armored, top is not.
I'm going to go make a wishlist thread about it.
