Title: Bump Mapping disables stereo 3D
Post by: Vulcan on January 27, 2012, 04:06:55 AM
If I enable bump mapping my stereo 3D goes wonky like there is no eye separation. If I disable in game the separation comes back.

I know I'm probably the only person playing in Stereo 3D...  :)

Yeah AFAIK AH doesn't officially support 3D so you might be stuck with leaving it turned off indefinitely...

It would be nice if you could enable specularity mapping without enabling bump mapping. Bump mapping's cool but spec mapping is really awesome.

Why would you want to?

Don't they each use a different .bmp? If I could turn them on individually I could use half the memory for the feature I really want.
I have a fairly low amount of ram with pretty little vram.

They use just 1 texture.
