The beta worked its way into non beta. The beta is no longer operational so you should play the normal updated aces high game.
Uninstall the beta using the uninstaller in the beta's folder.
Install the newest version of aces high from here: http://www.hitechcreations.com/Flight-Sim/Flight-Simulator-Download/aces-high-download-game.html (http://www.hitechcreations.com/Flight-Sim/Flight-Simulator-Download/aces-high-download-game.html)

Hitech came on tonight saying the beta was updated and needed testers.

Ahh that I didn't know about. I uninstalled the beta as soon as 2.27 was released.

It's NOT a beta, it's a test version. http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,328008.0.html The beta is finished and you can un-install it like Tigger said. The test version is a file you down load to the main Aces High folder and run the acestest.exe file there. I'm guessing it "patches" the game with an updated version that you can run on the regular game server. If there aren't any issues with it I'm sure we will all be getting the update soon enough.

The test file is an alternate executable. You put it in your AH folder and run it instead of aceshigh.exe.

ahh I gotcha... I was looking for a post from hitech about it not from pyro. I don't know how I missed that one.
