A fun little debate is which of the after war monster birds would dominate?

Contenders include...
P-51H
F7F
F8F
SeaFury
later model F4U(?)
Spit XXI
???

No idea but wouldn't that be a fun little flyoff. Of those listed I think the F8F would have the best climb, possibly best turn, not sure how it would handle at altitude. Related question, both Japan and Germany were developing next generation prop planes. Did they have a great follow-on or update to the 109 and 190? I know they fielded a few dozen Fw-190D-13. Japan? Sadly, not even sure about what the Commies had going...hmhmm...I mean Russian Allies <spits on ground Patton style...>

Boo

PS If you see this as hi-jacking your thread I apologize. Let me know and I'll remove it. I think it's the next logical step to your new found bird.

Maybe they'll start adding them one at a time for the convention?  Hint, hint

Not a Spitfire, and most definitely a postwar bird.

Goodyear F2G2 and Seafury would take those honors.

So does the Spit XIV, which we do have in the game.

The F2G2, the Super Corsair.

I think all Corsair models outturn the P-51 but in the overall scheme of combat would it be enough to handle the H model? As for the Seafury, I put that in out of respect to my British brethren but really? And when it boiled down to it are they all fighting for second place to the F8F Bearcat? Anyone have info on ubber German and Japanese prop planes?
