The best story I ever read was in The Onion. It was a "Last Century" book, and had the "big news stories" from The Onion over the last "century". The title alone had me rolling, something like "Holy S***, Man Walks on F*****:* Moon" but the story, and the supposed quotes from Neal Armstrong as he steps onto the surface, omfg.
The second best was the start of WWI, where every country declares war on.. And listing each one, and ending with one that accidentally declared war on themselves.
