David Wales is a BBS legend. People will hear tales of his epic journey across the aces high forum.
He came, He typed, He was PNGed.
He was pushed from the nest and now must spread those wings and fly. Whenever you come across a troll you know you that David Wales was there. When you type a troll David Wales is right there helping. Furthermore one day David Wales will walk the BBS again he will return as long as you remember His name was David Wales.

I'll save him just to set him on fire. :t

You're beating a dead horse, now lay off. I'm against David but I have respect not to slander him. He's gone and there's no need to ever mention the name again.

At least he picked a decent historical person for his ID/Avatar.
Saint David (c. 500–589) (Welsh: Dewi Sant) was a Welsh Bishop during the 6th century; he was later regarded as a saint and as the patron saint of Wales. David was officially recognised by the Vatican by Pope Callixtus II in 1120.
David of Wales (Dewi Sant) - Patron Saint of Wales.
Wonder which other persona non grata forum denizin he really was?

If we dare not say his name again, how can we pay proper homage to the man that brought us all so much joy?
Whether you liked him or not, he did unite this sorely divided community with his unabashed enthusiasm for the game and for life in general. We will do ourselves great disfavor if we forget about David Wales and all he accomplished in bringing a little bit of joy to our lives. I, for one, am richer just for knowing David Wales during his brief time in our community.

So much for taking a stance against making fun of people who can't defend themselves here.
Let the SkyRock jokes commence.

"Will the defendent please rise."

Here's my opinion on David Wales, and why he's a necessary evil in these forums...
There are a TON of people who do nothing more than go through peoples posts, pick it apart because of a typo or lack of punctuation, or flame the OP because they're not asking for a Yak-3. Anyone who browses the Wish List forum especially will quickly see it's a stomping ground for a few people who feel they 'know better' than everyone else. With a decently penned post, these people are able to infect the post with their negativity and attacks, while keeping it 'on topic' and avoiding the wrath of Skuzzy's rule violations.
What David did is point this out in a very decent manner. He was able to post topics that, while they were ridiculous, left nothing for these posters to do but go onto personal attacks on the OP himself. I don't know if I ever saw as many rule violations in a single post as I saw on a daily basis in David Wales posts.
I think Skuzzy and HiTech should really look at this, and ask themselves if they're PNGing the wrong person? He was able to point out to everyone that the Emperor is indeed nekkid; that a spade is infact a spade, and not a God of Wisdom and Judgement.
To all of you who fell for the troll, you deserved it, you're probably guilty of what's been listed above.
For those of you who will continue with your forum and thought policing despite the lessons that were shown... I hope HiTech adds to the list.
:salute David Wales

It's pretty sad, Skuzzy trusted him enough to make him a nickle member, then had to PNG him, it must be rough for Skuzzy's trust to be misused like this <G>
