Where is the feature to block posts from a particular poster?
I've searched the entire BBS help list and googled the commands for an SMF based forum. The only thing I can find is information on how to filter out PMs sent.
I really want the ability to block anything posted from people that have nothing worthwhile that I personally feel the need to sift through to get to the content I actually find relevant to the game.

Under Personal Message Options in your Profile.

Other members of Aces High Bulletin Board can contact you personally, but sometimes you may want to ignore someone's messages. This page allows you to set that, among other things.
That only seemed to work on private messages. I am talking about the general forum post's. I'll try it again though.

If you put the name that they use on the BBS it will still show that they posted, but instead of seeing what they typed you'll see a system message like"You are ignoring this user, CLICK HERE to view the post"
I wish it would just filter those people out completely, but I guess it would really make some of the conversations confusing.

Not nearly as confusing as some of them already are :D
Oh well, no biggie.

For some reason I think Davidwales may have something to do with this request. Not sure why, just a hunch. :D
