I wish that after I landed my plane, that it didn't have an odd tendency to "bounce" as if it was trying to fall through the map. This seems more noticeable in some planes than others. In the case of the La7 I've even had the landing gear break off while sitting on the rearm pad.

He's talking about the bouncing that happens when your not moving. It's a bug we had for a few years now.

I only experience that when I land upside down and then I bounce all over teh area. I once landed upside down short of the runway and ended up bouncing to the cement, though it took about 10 minutes of bouncing. Couldn't exit out afterwards as I kept on getting the message the plane must come to a full stop. Tried bailing out but then realized it would be impossible in real life to bail out from an upside down plane on the ground and I also do not have the bail out key mapped. Alt+F4 to the rescue!

That might have been me running over you in my almost a tank.

I bring my 47 in with full flaps. wheels hit the ground at 90 and I dont bounce at all. 190s are a little harder, and ive re-armed a spit14 once out of the 20 times ive tried

That's nice, but has nothing to do with what the op is talking about. In some planes (maybe all?) when you are on the ground at the end of a sortie and are very light from using up all your ords and burning all your gas the plane bounces up and down in place, it doesn't matter if you're sitting still it will still do it until your re arm or tower.

I do not suck at landing.
If you did read the post I was referring to what sometimes happens to your aircraft after you land. Some aircraft show this more than others. The La7 from what I've seen is the most extreme, the N1k2 also exhibits this.

Ah, that bounce. Disregard my prior post. I know the one you speak of. I've had an Il-2 bounce its tail off. It was like it had a tail wheel made of "flubber".

Take an F4U-4, cut engine right before you take off (with auto take-off), apply wheel brakes, watch what happens when it "stops".

Interesting, I can get it to happen with auto take-off but doesn't seen to happen when I do a manual take off. Since I don't use auto I've never seen it I guess.

With F4U1A I see it on every landing when the airplane comes to a stop. I've never used auto-takeoff.

do you guys have the break linked to your pedals? mine stopped after I switch the break to a button on the throttle.

Not here, I use C,V, and space for brakes.
Of some note, the bouncing will stop if you complete a rearm.

I can see lag on other airplanes but not on my own. unless of course it's a cv.
