I've seen several films that are narrated and, would like to figure out how to do that.
I do see that there are features in film viewer that allow editing and have voice listed as some sort of option but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

The way I do mine is the voice you hear is recorded during the flight, and I use FRAPS to do that. and of course I can still talk through the game using vox.

you need to record the narration using a sound program, then combine both using a video editing program. adding speech is just like adding a song.

You need a video editing application where you can have multiple overlapping audio tracks. So you just record yourself talking to a file (wave or mp3) and position the file as another track under the audio&video tracks of the game. At least that's how I would do it.

I have Microsoft - Vista; do you have any recommendation as to which audio program might be best for this?
Thanks so much!

fraps and windows movie maker work ok. Simple, yet powerful tools that get the job done.
Noah, that's what I used to make my movie last weekend. Took me an afternoon to figure the programs out and edit. I'll try to get you a quick tutorial on our BBS tonight. Also, I believe you can record the windows sounds while filming with fraps. Can be used to comment a movie shortclip.

Noah, if you can find Windows Movie Maker 2.6, that's probably the best "free" and somewhat easy to use video editor for a Windows system. It WILL allow you to add narration or music, but not sure if you can do both. I haven't used it in a little while.

That's fantastic guys!
I'm going to try that thanks!
