I personally see no point in having to spend 5 minutes DECODING a thread/post. If I wanted to do that, I would learn Russian and hop on a Russian forum. At least then the sentences would have (somewhat) proper grammar (even if it is in another language - which is not correct by modern, English terms).
Why anyone would support a troll is beyond me. Like I said in my last post, "Trolling must be Viagra for nerds." - It's the only way they can get their rocks off.

quality trolls are fun stuff! DW chickened out and gave up. 2 more weeks and it would have been the best ever, if he had come out with something like "i'm an aeronautical engineer, and this is why this is wrong". should have quoted more wikipedia pages instead of going full retard.

I personally see no point in having to spend 5 minutes DECODING a thread/post. If I wanted to do that, I would learn Russian and hop on a Russian forum. Those of us that were laughing were actually smart enough to get his joke, those that weren't laughing however weren't smart enough to get his joke or were upset when they realized they were the butt of his jokes.

Assuming he was a troll which I don't think he was. Just a bright eyed optimist who saw the best in everyone, even those like Marine who would demonize him for caring too much. Why is it that the revolutionaries that change the world are always crucified by the establishment?

While traveling in europe I got to meet davidwales briefly. He met me on his lunch break where he worked. He was employed by a bottling company that bottled wine for several of the local vineyards. David's job was to prepare the corks that went in the wine bottles by soaking them in water until they were soft and pliable. Davidwales took his job very seriously and took great pride in it. His face lit up with an enthusiastic smile when he bragged that he was the best cork soaker at the plant. He boasted that on average he soaked between 100 - 125 corks each day, but held the company record of once soaking 244 corks in one shift! With a gleam in eye he took a bite of the banana he had in his lunchbox he said "I've soaked a lot of cork".
I asked him to share some new ideas he has for the game, but he continued to ramble on about how much he loved soaking cork.
With lunch time over we said our goodbyes and I wished him well. I asked if there was anything he'd like me to pass on to you guys. He pulled out a single cork from his pocket and said "my ideas for the game have been ridiculed and dismissed. I will keep my future ideas to myself from now on. And when I die I'd like all of you guys to come over here and soak MY cork"

I didn't crucify a revolutionary. You can't make a great change if it's insanely difficult to decode your t@rdglish (english...with a lot of flaws). I'm not pissed off, I'm not mad - I was more along the lines of aggravated with texxt lyk dis on de forum bcuz thay thynk ytz phuneh.
You can attack me all you want - in the end: The person who failed 1st grad literature is no longer posting with that account, which means I'm happy.
People can post stupid idea, great ideas, crazy ideas all they want - All that I ask is they spell correctly so I don't have to waste an extra five minute decoding their "idea".

Not clueless. I just see zero point in dealing with a child on the forum. No sympathy for someone who types that way.
Something keeps pinging in the back of my head where someone mentioned their kid beginning to play (which is great)...I swore that DW had to have been him...but then...the threads continued...and got worse... :rolleyes:
