It would appear in June of 2013 I am taking my family to jolly old England for about two weeks. We like to plan ahead, so as part of that planning I need to find a nic pub to host some AH flyers for warm beer, weird looking food and ugly women. (My wife assures me they had better be ugly.)
Any suggestions from Da Few, 71 Squadron et al? Bruv, Yarbles, MickyD, Reaper90? Or do you still live in your Mums basement and don't get out much? haha
Also, any suggestions as to great places to visit, museums to see would be greatly appreciated. I know that whole 'Harry potter' thing isn't real but you know. The only other time I have been to London was in 2000. Got the royal treatment to include limos, behind the scene tour of Windsor Castle, etc but this time no such luck.
Thanks in advance!

There are more pubs in London than a drunk can shake a stick at- if one doesn't suit you, then just go next door. In Ireland its another story, in some towns there are more pubs than houses!

:rofl
Or Scotland... nice jog up there if you get the chance, doubt you'd hit the Highlands without two day's worth of driving at least.
You staying in London? Or exploring the rest?

Yarbles lives in London but good luck getting him out from under his Mrs' thumb :devil whatever date/time you are in town he will be 'doing the washing up' or 'making dinner', or perhaps 'taking my daughter to school' ;--)
my brother Loxy works in London and likes a drink ;) so he can probably help with recommending a good pub. I will direct him and the other Few chaps to this thread and maybe they can get involved.
The Natural History museum is a must-visit in London and is absolutely free.
shame I'm not in the UK anymore ;s

You will need to pick an area of London. That's like saying name a good pub in Chicago or New York. Also the beer is not warm, it's just not ice cold served in a frosted glass.
Have fun!

I took a trip to London 10 years ago when I was in high school. A trip to the Imperial War Museum is a must. If you are going to venture out of London, make a point to go to Stonehenge - very cool. Also if you're into the ancient Romans, I would recomend a trip to the Roman bathhouse in the aptly named town of Bath.
