Excellent mission for Frame 2.  Total obliteration of A2 plus going after "ENEMA" the CV fleet.  Kudos to the fighter sweep and escorts that kept virtually no enemy fighters from messing with the Betty bombers. :salute

Then there was this.

Ditto on the escorts!!! JOKERS JOKERS, JV44, The Gun Fighters, and Nightmares did an excellent job keeping the enemy fighters away from us (I think I actually saw one or two). Must have scared them off TITAN312 <S>, and great plan/coord Sir! Blue Max award goes to WAR <<<<<<<carries ducktape and med kit that includes half used turtle wax for polishing his victiom's plane....(apology to DWDing...) DW's tore some stuff up BTW!!!!!! BANZAI!  Rumor has it that SGY is undergoing a "Betty" restoration at the south rearm pad A26???? Priceless!    Great Job TITAN312!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a bombs away blue on blue incident. :D

Very rare to happen in FSO for a friendly to die from bombs overhead.

About those buildings..... and this may be old news.

I landed at A12 for a re-arm, and while approaching the pad, I stopped a little to much to the side and rolled to far. This put my left wing up against the small building on the re-arm pad. At first I figured my night was over, as I had no way to back up, but with very light and easy throttle inputs, and working the rudder and right brake a bit, I was able to slide the wing  off the side of the building with no damage. I was very surprised it worked, as in the old days, if you even touched an object like that, your wing just came off. I am glad to see that has changed.

My guess is if I would have used to much throttle, or hit the building with any real force, I would have broken my wing.

Guess I got lucky. ;)

Shouldn't SheGotYa have distances on each part of her aircraft??  Maybe it's just the average distance of all parts?
