Title: PT Boat skins all look the same

Have never noticed any difference in the 3 available PT skins.

The PT Boats also spawn in with the engine off, but all other ground vehicles spawn in with engine on.  This seems counter-intuitive, being that stealth may be required on land but hardly needed 100 yards from the CV.

pt' boats arent ground vehicles  :eek:.

I also noticed that I couldn't start my engines with the PT boat for the life of me. pressed 'E' 5238975231705 tmes, with 10 second breaks in between, held down 'W', hit Shft+W, 'S' selected engines and tried to start individually, wouldn't work. Wierd...

This is simply due to the skins not being removed from the game when we updated the PT boat.  We will have to release a skins update to correct this.

Yup, those are old skins. If you look in your /skins/ directory you'll see the dates are old, and they pre-date the graphics update the PT underwent.

Check them out ONLINE and you'll see what's available. These old skins seem to only show up offline. If they're invalid, they show up but only display the default.

If you really get annoyed you can go in and delete your ptboat_1.res through ptboat_3.res files and they won't show up offline anymore.


P.S. This is also taken into consideration with my AH Skins Catalog (see link in my sig) -- it only shows the available ONLINE skins, not leftovers from before.
