Found a bunch on Gunbroker TB,

You can put what your looking for into search, looks like there is a bunch available

Ive had really good luck buying thru them.

Is the slide release on the other side?  Or does this pistol not have one?

 Doesn't have one.  The slide locks open on an empty mag.  The follower lifts up the slide lock, then have to pull the slide back for it to release either after moving the empty mag down enough for the follower to let the lock move down or putting in a loaded mag.

  Check pawn shops...I think I paid $160.00 for mine 7 or 8 years ago.  It's a fun little pistol to shoot.

Friend of mine had a very similar, but older fire arm.  I can't remember the manufacturer.  It was a pretty sweet gun though, most interesting part was the Iron Eagle stamped with an SS rather than the Swastika below the slide on the thing.  It wasn't a standard P.38, as I recall it was a Mauser, but it's been years...

Though in searching for the stamp online, it may have been an 88 that was worn down:

Nice pistol. Get a Czech CZ 75 :aok
Used to be dirt cheap, right after Berlin wall fell. Nice weapon.
