I have the film.  Best fight I've had in months.  202 v 38 is always a lot of fun.  Nice to meet you.

I have to post this film, it is complete, so there is a lot of time before and after.  If you are new and want to see a great pilot work a "hangar queen" this is a good film to watch.

The Oldman is overrated with a massive ego.

His overrated massive ego beat the crap out of me. He won that fight as far as I am concerned.

Sarcasm. OM and I go back a little ways to understate a bit. One of the best 202 drivers around.

OM probably was wearing his Italian leather undies again. I wish he would stop singing opera though when he flies The Mafia planes

Yikes.  This is embarrassing.

I watched Tom's film from his perspective.  Plainly I lasted as long as I did because he was merciful on the trigger.  I'll take it.  It was a great fight and a lot of fun.

The compliments mean a lot coming from the people they come from.  Thanks!

I'm disgusted by this flagrant display of sportsmanship, respect, and common courtesy.  Don't you folks realize this is the the AH BBS?

Srsly, OM is one of my earliest memories of great fights and sportsmanship in this game.   I will miss him when he's gone.

That is the kind of fight that keeps me playing this silly game.  Too bad they are so few and far between.

After reading this, I have to ask is this the same Oldman from Air Warrior the leader of de'ol'onz. I had blast flying with him and the squad  tell life got in the way. sure sounds like the Olman I knew  :salute

It is not.  Oldman predates  the Oldmn you are thinking of in terms of Airwarrior flying.  haven't seen your Oldmn in a long time

No, people often confuse us (to the detriment of Oldmn, I fear).  He flew in RR, I flew in FR (as "Oldma" at the time due to the handle length restriction) so we rarely met.  I remember his dark poem about flying FWs, and the whole squad had that strange way of text-talking.  Wonder where they are today?

Nope, not the same OldMan!  Despite the fact that both are lawyers, the one you are thinking of from RR lived in Chicago and our Oldman731 is from PA.  The OldMan you are thinking of attempted to secure the rights to AirWarrior after Electronic Farts killed it, to no avail I'm afraid.  The RR OldMan liked to use Eubonics in his speech.  Our OldMan is much more reserved in his demeanor.  I do in fact miss the antics and flamboyant personality of my old friend from de'ol'onz.

All the Best...

Oldman always a class act. He's persisted ever the years and gotten quite good. I seem to recall him handing me my head the last time we crossed paths too! :D :salute
