I don't know if it's just me but, I find myself frequently flying into the sun. If you could put on sunglasses that would dim the sun along with reducing icon rand by a bit, I think this would be a very fair addition.

Why are you frequently flying into the sun?

You can move your head (or slightly change course) to hide the sun with part of the cockpit frame, or just look slightly to one side so the sun doesn't glare up your whole screen.

I know you can hide the sun with cockpit, but doesn't it get annoying for anyone else?

Annoying posts are more annoying then the sun in game.

no, because you just move your head and block the sun with the airplane.. I dont think sunglasses are meant to look into the sun anyway.

I'd pay 1,000 perkies to have these installed

Exactly how it's done in reality (even with sunglasses on).

Actually the lighting needs a little tweak. A negative (-) sign needs to be added to the program in places. I requested to fix the Sun's lighting on the trees about a 1 year ago and it was fixed. I keep hammering at to fix the surrounding lighting when viewing the Sun when this subject comes up.
When looking towards or at the Sun in real life your iris closes and lets in less light. What that means, for example, the inside of your cockpit/instrument panel should get darker (when looking into the Sun). The modeling in AH2 does the opposite, the instrument panel gets brighter.
If you want to test this out, just look out a window with a low Sun visible in the background. You will notice that the inside of the window frame and walls appear to dim.
The reason why the Sun has many complaints may be do to the reasons above. AH2 lighting may seem unnatural and messes with the brain.

I think he really just wants sunglasses because no matter what, EVERYTHING you do is cooler when wearing sunglasses.

the enviroment is already unreal so why not just have sun at 12 noon or do away with it altogether..its always been a problem and looks unreal.

The Dos Equis guy has already attained maximum coolness. Will using glasses break the time space continuum? :old:
