yep. iiiiit's true. there actually IS something i don't like about it.
the smell inside. it smells so dam good, that when i get in, i don't wanna get out. the seats are so dam comfortable, i don't wanna get out. especially when the heat's turned on in them.
the biggest thing though, is the sync system. in particular the sound system. while it's not necessarily the best quality sound in the world, it does kick out good sounds. and the options? sheesh!! between the line in option, the usb port, sirius.....i can go from now till doomsday without ever having to listen to commercial radio again.
i've already got 2 thumb drives loaded up with various music, an old 128(or something like that..it holds 120 songs)mp3 player, and my cell phone loaded up with music.
who'd have ever thought the lowly mustang would ever get this dam good? :aok :D

It's a good thing yuor a mechanic. I know 3 people that have Mustangs, two of them have 2007's and one has a 2009 and all three of them are in the shop more than they're out.
Mustang's were my dream car untill I saw what those three were going through with there's lol

I was a mustang fan for the longest time, then when Transformers came out, i fell in love with the Camaro. I still like the Camaro, but with the 2012 Mustang, i have fallen back in love with it... Already have designed mine on ford's website... now just need to come up with 35 grand for it...

the only thing i didn't like about the camaro in transformers, was that it's yellow. a longtime friend of mine had been on the fence about buying a camaro. till he drove past the shop, and saw the gt sitting out there. he came in and checked it out......2 weeks later, he had his 2010 2ss(i think that's the v8?) race orange white stripes. beautiful car,. but i still like mine better. :devil

2SS is the 6.2 V8 with leather and the connectivity pkg. Otherwise known as the Anti-Mustang. :D
EDIT: Ally bank will lend on a SS Camaro no prob. Ya just have to go to a dealer that'll put their feet to the fire. As a dealer, all you have to say is "I guess we'll send it to our credit unions..." They tend to loosen up a bit after that.
Heck, I got a 36 mo, 12k/yr Volt lease done two days ago at 380/mo with very questionable credit... That one was 45k sticker. Ally does work with ya.
2nd Edit: I'm the seller, not the buyer. Happy to answer any questions though.

i think one of these engines into an f150 like that would be one surprisingly good combination.

yep. that's the one woody has. he traded his dodge ram in on it.
back when we both had our 60's hot rods, we were always lining up down at the track. it sucked when i sold him the smallblock 400 out of my truck, helped him install it in his 68 camaro, and he then proceeded to hammer me into the weeds. :x

Ya but I don't think they are going to lend to a 19 year old who is full time at college with no job currently spending a couple grand a month on flying lol... But then again, I am probably just the type of person they are looking for to take advantage of...
AS for the Camaro, originally I would have actually done it just like Bee, Yellow with black stripes, if I were to get one. Black leather with yellow trim. I was even thinking about getting transformer logos and replacing all the Chevy logos with the respective logos. Then I discovered the Maroon color and fell in love with it. I would have picked it and white racing stripes instead.
However, I didn't like the Camaros used in Revenge of the Fallen and The Dark Side of the Moon. Mainly it was the large black vent on the fenders that I didn't like, so I would have just gotten one with the standard fog lights there instead. I actually saw a Transformers Edition Camaro last year sitting in the parking lot as I was leaving a hospital.
What has really turned me back off the Camaro is that it seems to me they have made the nose of the car more pointed than the first year they reintroduced the line. Its just a little too pointed for my liking.
The Mustang on the other hand, I always loved the front end, especially after they did the 2010(?) update. It was the rear end that i didn't like, but it has since grown on me.
If i were to get a Mustange, i would get the v6. Two reasons really. One would be Insurance, i know there is a much higher premium for the GT's especially for my age. And the second is because it should get slightly better gas mileage. Manual is also a given, though I have never learned it yet.

OOOO......if you get a boss302, you HAVE to bring it to milleville.
BTW... i watched the american stig drive both a roush stage3, and a boss302 around american top gears track. the boss was quicker, more composed, leaned less, had less brake dive, and looked much much more precise in the turns.

last i heard the zl1 will have a supercharged 6.2 liter making 580 hp from the factory, as compared to the mustang with a supercharged 5.8 liter making 650 hp, and capable of topping 200mph. :devil

has anyone else heard the rumors of the gt500 lapping nurburgring in 7:30's? i've found it in a couple different places, but nothing official from ford yet......but still.....if it did..... :devil :devil that'd be a kick in the arse, wouldn't it?
personally, i'd rather see these beasts tested on tracks they;re likely to race on....milleville, laguna, watkins glen, etc......

i honestly do not. i think that the guy that tarnished the thunderbird name with that pile of ugly should be locked in a room with no windows, and forced to listen to barry manilow for the rest of his life.

Can you post pictures of the interior?
When I was looking for my new car several months ago, I drove several different cars, but the Fords were always a big let down on the interior. Even the higher end "luxury" models of the new cars just seemed, plastic and cheap.

My dad just went and bought a boss, dont have a clue what he spent, but he has a 67 fastback that needs a resto in his garage all original other than driverside wing window. For the money he could have built the 67 to a kickass ride.

My dad just went and bought a boss, dont have a clue what he spent, but he has a 67 fastback that needs a resto in his garage all original other than driverside wing window. For the money he could have built the 67 to a kickass ride.
Totally different purposes. I'd build a 60 something Mustang into a grocery getter and track the new Boss. I just need flight17 to get off his wallet and buy my pristine econobox chick magnet convertible.

Squid is taking off the black car right? How about you swap that Silver GT with a Blue one that goes faster in the 1320 and gets significantly better mileage.

the 67/68 fastbacks are absolutley the best and most beautiful of the original mustangs.

where i get my back beat up, they always give me a bottle of water on the way out. i had half drank it before i even got to the car. i kept it on the floor originally, then i thought....what the hell....it can't spill, so lets see if it's as poorly thought out as i think.
