Title: Need volunteers to run a quick download test
Post by: Pyro on February 23, 2012, 03:09:08 PM: I'm looking for some people to attempt to download a file from our website and see if they are getting a super slow download speed. Just start a download of the game to see if it's downloading at normal speed and then cancel the download. Let me know if it seems normal for you or if it's really slow. Thanks.

I'll try later this evening when I get home on the 18meg speed.

I started a download of the game at 6 pm eastern I was getting 100-150 kb download. I had just finished downloading new a new driver package and it was much faster than the game.

with an ETA ranging between 7 and 10 hours for something I "normally" can DL in less then 20 min...when its slow,

Primary 40-80, secondary 65-80. Download time estimated +1 hour.
Speedtest.net from Joensuu to Fort Worth/One Source Communications ping 165 (normal), download 5.5, upload 1.2.
Same test from home to my Operator Telekarelia ping 13, download 16,9, upload 1,48. Paying for max 24/2, so the local results are acceptable.
