Probably a common wish , but thought I would bring it up again.
Factories split up and spread out on the maps a bit. IE.... oil, AAA in different locations. I would up 17's more if I had different targets to go at .
It gets old quick, flying to the city to be met by 5 163's who took 2.5 mins out of their time to shoot you down. Don't mean to complain but it is the reason I don't fly bombers anymore.

Factories would, in theory, at least have a slight effect on the game. Towns in the backfield literally have no effect.

Bombing towns in the backwoods is like using an Arado to bomb GVs.

factories these days dont affect much for the half hour flight there 5 10 mins bombing ( pos gettign shot down by 163s) then the half hour treack home. most times hqs go down theres 20 30 ppl ready to earn few bombers perks and for strats with game stile of hoarding bases doesnt do much. NOW if there where say a fighter factory or bomber or ground vehcle factory that would affect hangers that would prolly be a more saught after target

I would go a bit different on this and ask for a completely different kind of strat game.
Have multiple game types, in addition to the current "capture the airbase". Have another that is "bomb them into submission". This arena scenario is won by having a running count of factories destroyed. The first team to X amount of total enemy industry destroyed wins.
Yes, that would mean fighters are not going to do anybody any good other than score their own perk points....sort of just like it is right now if you think about it.

Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking. I don't want an arena reset in 2 hours of gameplay. I was thinking a variable number for a reason, so we could tune the game from experience (or rather the system moderator does). It would and should be a sustained bombing campaign that takes a long, long time.
Conversely their probably should be a game mode that is the exact opposite that is very, very fighter centric. Dogfighting isn't a bad game mode, and that should be celebrated too. It certainly is one of the most fun parts of the game. First nation to rack up X amount of ENY points wins the "air superiority" game type and there is an arena reset.
