I have noticed that sometimes, depending on the aircraft I have chosen, I am unable to get an external view while in flight. It works okay on the ground, but the minute the plane lift's off it goes to internal view and will not allow me to switch to external. Is that due to limited graphics memory? or some other limitation? :confused: Thanks in advance!

It is available in flight for bombers to simulate the additional views from gunners.  It is enabled for ground handling on fighters, so you can make it to the rearm pad easier.

It has been decided that in some aircraft, the availability of an external is too much of an advantage.

Rearm, yes, taxi also, but I was the one that actually put the wishlist in for that, and one of the main reasons was to admire plane skins, as well!



(Yes, I just took unofficial credit for this game feature :P )

  Thank you, I love the veiws when a mission is preparing to take off. And  :salute those that taxi to the side to be out of the blob.  :D
