I believe that there should be a few new airplanes in the game: He 111 h5 and 6, SB2C, PBY, A6M2 N, SM 79 and the Ju 52. I think there should also be a PaK 40 and a M1 105mm howitzer. Also, when you hit any ground vehicle, there should be dents and gouges in the armour from the shell impacts. And when you fly at night, you should be able to see the exhaust flames coming out the exhaust pipes.

No, spelling looks good.

To hell with his spelling, the suggestions are actually good for one, and whats even more incredible is that they're actual suggestions, and not impracticle, unrealistic, and annoying 'suggestions' that are clearly trolling.

YES!!!!! To all but the flames-- a) we don't have night (yet) and b) graphics hit... And were they really so visible?
Don't bother with the new planes, there's already a waiting list. It starts in Southeast Asia, winds down into the Mariana trench, turns around and heads up into the Himalayas, then does a circuit of the world, hitting the Alps, the Atlantic deeps, and the Rockies before returning to Indonesia's Krakatoa. :D
I like the dents idea, never thought of that one before.

I recall reading something about how a group of SBD's were heading back to their carrier when night started to hit. Eventually, they were only able to stick together because they could see each other's exhaust flames and made it safely back. I believe this happened around 1942? I may be thinking about much later in the war though. :headscratch: And we DO have night, just not in the MA's. I think the AvA team runs night time scenarios once in a while.

Maybe Skuz will move this to the wishlist where it belongs. :D

Thats alot to chew on for your 1st post but you left out a few things. What about clouds of dust as the Armor is approaching, smoke at captured towns, and Nurses in the O'club.

I read that some planes where almost unflyable at night because of the blinding flashes of light from the exhaust flames. Aside from hiding the flames from enemy eyes this was another reason exhaust flash hiders where installed on many planes.

Spitfires operated at night without exhaust flares being a problem. Undampered Mossies, such as the B.Mk XVI in AH, also operated at night without issues.

That's probably why... I think Halifaxes were also fitted with some serious flame-damping stuff, IIRC

Reread what you quoted. I said undampered Mossies, i.e. Mosquitos such as the B.Mk XVI that did not have flame dampening equipment.
The only blinding glare for Mossies operating at night was from the unshielded quad of .303s on the early F.Mk IIs.

Whoops, my bad.

To my post that we should see gouges and dents in the armour for shell impacts: There are many pictures on google images of king tigers with gouges the size of coconuts where a sherman's 75mm shells actually glanced off the 5 inch. armour. They were at least 2-3 inches deep into the 7 in. armour of the king tiger ( it was actualy 5 in. thick, but with the 40 degree slope, it was 7 in.).

7 inches eh?
The Bismark only had 6.5 inches of armor at its thickest.
:O

Bismark's thickest armor was 14.2" on the turrets and had a 12.6" belt. King George V had 16" on the turrets and barbettes and 15" on the belt and bulkheads. Iowa had 17" on turrets and barbettes, 12.1" on the belt and 14.5" on the bulkheads. Yamato had 25.6" on the turrets, 21.5" on the barbettes, 19.7" on the conning tower and 16.1" on the belt.
I can't speak to the Tiger II though.

the king tiger's armour was actually 5 in. but 40 degrees= 7 in. don't believe me? take out a piece of paper, make 2 parallel lines 5 in. apart and at 40 degrees. lines should be 10 in. long. measure the space between the lines going straight across. It will be around 7 in. across.

Are you trying to say the the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the sides?
Have you consulted Pythagoras about this?

Look i am not good at math seeing I'm only 14 so please stop badgering me. I am good at history and quantum mechanics and am trying to get a grasp on calculus and trig so i can go to oxford. I try to make it so that anyone can check my reasoning's with that "experiment"

no american. I prefer oxford because they have a better quantum field than most.

Move along, nothing to see here :noid:

Look i am not good at math
I am good at history and quantum mechanics
Why do these two concepts seem to clash?
trying to get a grasp on calculus and trig
I suggest learning the trig first...
I try to make it so that anyone can check my reasoning's with that "experiment"
It's not an experiment, it is a mathematical equation.
Experiments have variable outcomes, mathematical equations do not. There is a marked difference between the two.

quantum mechanics involve trig and calculus, that's why it seems to clash, i think. and yes i knew that mathematical equations of fixed outcomes. i just wanted to do "experiment" because it was my little experiment that i did when i was bored with nothing else to do. Ty for the advice though

That is what clashes. How can you be good at Quantum Mechanics if you are not good at math?

my "intelect" is that of a 14 year old student with an I.Q. of 156 studying military history, human history, and quantum mechanics getting ready for oxford. i do not want to get into proper grammar, punctuation, and English comp. because this is a forum, not school. i don't really care what you bring up to make me look like a subnormal human being, whether its my English, spelling or whatever. I can easily answer any question about any of the vehicles in here with 99% certainty that i am correct. Forgive me if i do not wish to check if my English is correct in my post which most of the time, only get 20 comments from complete strangers who i bet get most of the info of planes and ground vehicles from t he internet. notice i said most, not all, if you do not do that.
He wasn't doing that, he was simply saying that if you can't even type accurately in your mother language, then why should we believe what you have to say on vehicles or whatever?

because at quantum mechanics, i easily understand the physics of it and can predict outcomes of certain situations. i just cant prove them yet. i have books on the subject and predict the out come of a certain experiment in the books and continue reading to see if i was correct. its the only way i can study it with out taking the trig and calculus classes, which i will take in the 9th grade

Nice second pic :)

Just want to say, the Tiger II had 6" of armor on the glacis plate (150mm is about 6") and about 7" on the turret (180mm is about 7").

You do realize to get into Oxford as an American, It's not what you know but who you know, right?
If you want to be a nuke, M.I.T or Embry Riddle have great quantum programs, and are worlds easier to get into than Oxford.
Anyways, I give a +1 to the new planes, but exhaust flames would have to be a side project I think because we don't have night in the MA. Also, it would probably have to be an optional graphics enhancement, because most people wouldn't be able to run it on their system.

ERAU's Quantum physics program is...ok.

It still gets you the degree though. Even with an Oxford degree you'll still find it hard to get a job, especially in that field.

Um, you went there. Other's used it as an example of contradictive extrapolation. It's ok. You'll get there. You're about the same age as my youngest step-son and he's right about everything .... he just can't prove it, either. :D
-
That's certainly true about that degree field. I went to Riddle out in AZ. I majored in Security and Intel Studies with a minor in asian studies and a concentration in Chinese. The USAF decided I should be a pilot instead of a intel officer. Who was I to complain :)

way to much to ask for, still waiting on the 410 :furious

I believe that there should be gummy bears in the game. I think there should also be gummy bears and a M1 105mm howitzer. Also, when you hit any bags of gummy bears, there should be dents and gouges in the plastic of the bag of gummy bears. And when you fly at night, you should be able to see the gummy bear flames coming out the exhaust pipes.
