Title: Possible Tornado Outbreak for 3/2/12
Post by: Slash27 on March 01, 2012, 11:14:08 PM: This could be a very significant event tomorrow for the areas shaded. Keep an eye on the weather if you live in these areas. Might be a good day to pick up a weather radio or find a good app on your smartphones with an alert function. You can follow Spotter Network on twitter as well. Very good up to the minute info. Be safe.

From what I'm hearing this is more a probable event than possible. Models could change but this looks very likely.

I'm sure. They overblow this stuff all the time and people ignore the real deal.

Borden Indiana is Reporting tornadoes ... Strong indications of Tornadoes in Fort Knox KY, Tornado sirens going off in Elizabethtown KY, Knoxville getting hit now.

Take shelter and be safe if you are in theses areas gents and ladies. Stay safe and hope everything goes well for ya all.

Post by: F22RaptorDude on March 02, 2012, 08:44:55 PM: Missed it by a few miles, tornado touched down in Gwinnett heading for my grandparents house, aunt is Cumming is about to get slammed too, Praying for them. i'm scared out of my mind, lightning bolt came within a few hundred feet of my house a min ago, the flash and sound made me uh... kinda pee my pants... :eek:

Edit: the system in Alabama currently has a chance of hitting my area with brunt force...

Post by: Rash on March 02, 2012, 09:03:38 PM: Stay safe guys. My grandfather had both his legs broke from a tornado in 1918. The same storm killed one of his brothers, sister and a uncle. I've lived in tornado ally for 48 years, and never seen one running on the ground.

Not true, if worse comes to worst, get in the bathtub and but a blanket over you, bath tubs are pretty tuff
