A tank. 2 actually. (Ok ... maybe 3) And some kids.
-
M-22 "Locust", designed to be carried in a glider, for airborne assaults.
-
Interesting.

Have gliders been wishlisted?
-
obligatory 'we need this in AH' post... :huh

Have airborne tanks that break upon landing been wishlisted yet? (j/k) ;)

Why use a glider, just add wings.

What a neat way to die.

That exact spot is where turned hard left toward the capitol with a bunch of harley riding bikers chasing my RX-2 through the grass as I sped past leather vendors in 1983.
I finally got away between the capital and the botanic gardens.
Some moron in the back seat had rolled down the window in front of the vietnam veterans memorial and yelled "charlie in the wire" on memorial day.
Had I had 4 doors, he would have been pushed out to deal with them.
I'm sure he's already removed himself from the gene pool by now.
-
You had a Mazda RX2 Coupe. The moron was in the back and he rolled down the window and yelled?

Yes.
It would have worked the same for the RX-3, RX-4, and RX-5.

Cool. On most coupes you can't roll down the rear side window, only the door window.

Yeah I know (now). It's a pretty cool feature of that car.
-
That tiny window on this one is also openable.
I know the fronts were electric but it's possible the rears were.

yes its a locust, but it was too heavy to be used in a glider so it wasnt really used in battle. and there are 3 tanks in the picture.
