Title: All you Piper Cub fliers...
Post by: flight17 on March 03, 2012, 02:39:06 PM
This year, oshkosh is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the piper J3 cub. In doing so, all piper cubs area invited to be a part of a big fly in to be the featured aircraft of the show. As it is right now, there are over 100 cubs from across the country and Canada flying in. They will be meeting south of Oshkosh and then will take part in a massive formation flight into the air show.

Anyone planning on flying in of for it? I'm trying to get my tail wheel endorsement and then build 100 hours in a tail wheel so I cand fly our piper L-21B there by doing my commercial flight training part 61 and using a cub for what I can. That's assuming that it's flying by then as well, but it should be with the speed progress is being made on it currently.
