Title: yet even more X52 problems
Post by: 4Prop on March 03, 2012, 04:45:35 PM
ok heres my problem.

sometimes when pulling back on the stick I guess something is miss read in the stick because it will randomly give input that the stick is being pushed forward and act accordingly.

so basically, if I'm turning with someone and im pulling back on the stick, after a certain point of me pulling back,my airplane will sometimes start going nose down. even in game if I watch my stick in the cockpit it will go forward even though im actually pulling back. I dont know what the problem is

Have you taken the bottom cover off and looked to see if the magnets are in the proper position?

A powered USB hub is a must too.  My problems went away with one.

I had to use a powered hub on this stick, also switch all the LEDs off they are another power drain.

Also do that magnet mod it will totally improve the stick.

Actually you might want to try switching LEDs and MFD to full brightness. That solved X52 problems for me in the past. Whats it show in X52 controller? Does it show the axis going in the right directions? I dont think theres a reverse axis option in Aces High.

I had the same problem with not getting the correct inputs when pulling back on the stick.
I solved it by disconecting the USB until my puter had fired up.
Seemed like the auto calib' thingy was going wonky on start up.

just wait a min till comp is stable after start up....plug the USB back in.....good to go :D

Click on the axis in the Options->Controls->Map Controllers, then click the "Advanced" button to get to the option to reverse an axis, plus a lot more.
