In Texas it is a blast. I have no inclination to go to germany for the festival. :)

Texas has a large German decendant population mainly located in the Hill Country.

New Braunfels is mostly of german descent.....my last name would be Weiss, but my great grandparents changed it to sound more American. (Back in the early 1900s)

It also doesn't mean that the United States is anything like Germany.
