so I got the plans and hardware kit for the pony. that thing is more complicated than I was thinking it was going to be, so I ordered the wood kit and the rest of the materials due to not doing much wood working I dont have a router or bandsaw. If anyone wants a copy of the plans let me know

ok thanks, I ordered the wood so it comes precut. Just unsure of painting. Not sure what to use, oil or latex? It will be kept inside so I dont really worry about the weather getting to it, just want it to last a long time.

That looks cool. I would use oil paints if you're going to use it mostly inside, unless you've got a small child who will be using it lots. Then, use latex :)
