As for the OP, ghosts? Nah. I've heard stories and what not, and while I don't believe in them, I wouldn't spend a night by myself in a cemetary or abandoned house either.

Not sure about snopes claim of the ghost " spreading like wildfire on the Internet" in 1990 but I do remember that. I spent over a hour one night trying to explain to a bunch of chicks I was in high school with it was a damn cardboard cutout. They were having none of it.

I do believe in ghosts. I worked my way through most of my undergraduate time in college working every other night and weekend in a mortuary. I had a few experiences there that were convincing. I also saw that they really aren't interested in bothering folks.

I don't know about that. I don't think they can hurt you physically but I've dealt with some phenomenon that I can't explain the seemed to be intent on scaring the poo out of me. :O
