if your small squad of 10 or so decided to change countries for a month, but one of your squaddies refused because of country loyalty.
Then said squaddie PMs you asking your location, then dives 15k to vulch your 38 in a spit 16, then brags about it saying he whooped ya
Then said squaddie is caught on film giving up a NOE raid and locations of the 2 goons from the country he/she is supposed to be so loyal to?
If you were CO what would you do?

I would kick him out for good....no chance of return

:salute i think you should boot him out. but does your sqaud have any bylaws concerning this? if you dont make known that this cant happen then maybe you should. after all you must trust squadies about all.

I would check with one of my old countrymen as to his locations and hunt him for a bit, you know make him my hobby for a month or so.

You should send him a check/money order for 14.95
then tell him/her how to play a game

Why would you want to be in a squad that jumps countries?

Why would you want to be in a squad that jumps countries?
Why would you want to be in a squad that always stays on the same country? :headscratch:
If you switch every so often you get to laugh at all of the different people that think they are Generals in country chat, not just the ones from your original chesspiece. You also get to fight and be shot down by all of the various great pilots from all three of the sides.
And most importantly you will learn that there is no real difference between any in game 'country', and that people who whine about side switching, or say things like 'BISHOPS ARE SUCH NOOBS', 'KNIGHTS HAVE NO CLASS' or 'ROOKS ARE HORDERS' are morons.
Also, helbent, for what it's worth I agree with JunkyII.

Easy, just kick him and move on. Maybe you should let someone else Co the squad if you can't even make decisions as simple as this one :headscratch:. I've booted people for far less and you never once saw a thread about it :aok

In the squads I was a member of, squad loyalty trumped country loyalty every time and although there was some grumbling a couple of times when we switched countries, none of my squaddies refused to switch or turned against the squad. A couple of us had shades accounts and most likely flew occasionally for their country of preference, but they wouldn't fly their shade account when a squad event was underway.
I'd say boot that guy from the squad because he obviously prefers to fly with other people. It's not a crisis, just one guy preferring to fly with other people. No big deal, but if he prefers "them" over "us", he probably shouldn't be in the squad any longer.
And that isn't telling him how to play the game either... If you want a squad that does their own thing and couldn't care less who they fly with, then ok fine it's your squad. But I think most squads are made up of people who like flying with each other more than they like flying with other people. Booting someone from a squad isn't telling them how to play the game, rather it's simply affirming how the REST of the squad wants to play, by flying with their squaddies.
IMHO. Personally, I figure someone who won't fly with his squad because of a simple country change ought to have enough class to quit the squad before he is booted. But that's just how I roll. Besides, some of my finest squad experiences in WB/AH came when my squad switched countries just for the chance to beat up on our friends in other squads who remained in the original country. We'd switch for a little while, whup on each other just for the chance to have some good honorable fights against the people we already knew we liked, and then later switch back and together our squads would spend an evening utterly dominating the entire arena. Fun stuff, but it only worked because we liked flying with our squads more than we liked flying with other people or other squads. That made all the difference, and we were GOOD because of it (re: the old squad "The Flying Pigs" and BYACAW "Barn Yard Animals Composite Air Wing" made up of a half-dozen of the coolest squads ever).
And we didn't give each other grief about shades accts, so nobody in the squad started griefing the rest of the squad. I think our one big bout of internal strife was actually over football, of all things :)

You really have to ask what to do?

He is definitely not 80th material. What your squad does will say lots towards who they are and want to be.

lol i remember one time my squad (rook) and a Bish squad teamed up on the knights, wasnt the easiest thing in the world to do. but we sure confused the heck out of the nits.

lol Im not asking for advise, my actions were quick on the matter. The thread asks "what would you do". But there was an alternate motive.

Not quite 7 there supastar, wasnt that long ago. As a mission planner, I know the challenges required in putting missions up. Its not always easy to do and get people in. To have 1 person rat it out is despicable and unforgiveable. By doing so you prove yourself to be a low-down, rotten, underhanded, cheap scumbag idiot of a player.
But, you are right.....I shouldnt call people idiots on this board. I should know better. Besides they eventually prove to everyone how stupid they really are all by themselves. Right?
Why would anyone shave a bear? and how can you do that and survive?
