The reactions out of some of the cops are hilarious
-
Yeah ahah ... not. :headscratch:
-
That's just rude.

-
:rofl how is that rude???
-
he was just testing the bottle
-
I know it's bad. But it's hella funny. :rofl :rofl :rofl
-
Only bad I see is some of the attitudes the guys in uniform I support have. :aok
-
Hah I thought every cop handled that situation quite nicely.

Especially cop #4. In this "free" country a high school dropout is allowed to tell a citizen "You are an idiot. Leave now or I will put the cuffs on you" even though no crime is being committed. Even cop #2 is acting like a moron at the beginning but at list he has the balls to recognize it was a joke. Just write the guy a ticket and move on.
But hey, as you said, quite nicely :lol

dedalos, while I see that the cop may have overreacted, why do you think that police departments are hiring high school dropouts? It doesn't add up; with the economy only barely recovering, governments are still cutting budgets to make ends meet. That would correspond to an increase in hiring requirements, and thus a great reduction in the number of high-school dropouts. Furthermore, while I agree that cops don't do too many nice things for people (e.g., they arrest you, search you, etc.,) it is part of their job, which is executing criminal law.

Indeed, quite nicely. :aok

I'm old enough, 65, to remember when the Los Angeles Police Departrment changed its policy that you had to have a High School Diploma, instead of just passing the 10th grade. :old:

While I may or may not have knee-jerked in that other thread, the poster above shows me that I was very close if not spot on in my analysis.

Penguin what the hell are you going on about now?

What does that have anything to do with an overreaction which some coops did have.

I did and I don't see any purpose in what you posted...
-
I can't really help you beyond restating what I already said. :( Sorry.
dedalos implied that cops are highschool dropouts and thus unfit for duty.
I replied that they are both not highschool dropouts, nor, in the grand scheme of things, do they go out looking to arrest people for fun.
That's as best as I can explain it. :)

your right, he did bring it up and it just never clicked... but also, your also assuming those are all cops in the video. They could be just security gaurds or the like...
-
Ah, I see what you're saying. If so, then I have no clue.

I thought they all did well.
