Title: Draw Something?
Post by: flight17 on March 13, 2012, 09:26:03 PM
Anyone play it? Its very addictive. Heard about it this morning on radio and have been playing it crazy since. They said that its th emost popular app on itunes right now with over 20million downloads in last 2 weeks.

If you havent played it, you are given three words to choose from, a 1, 2 and 3 coin (point) valued word. You pick which one then you have to draw it. Then the other person is given 12 letters and has to guess what you drew.

Everyone I work with is now addicted.   Between that and Words With Friends, I'm shocked anyone gets any work done at all.

It will die out just like Words with Friends did.

That would imply that most of us have stable jobs.  :uhoh :P

Hell, I've been out of work for almost 2 years. The USMC messed up my back, didn't get me fixed and now I can't lift over 15lbs or stand for prolonged lengths of time...and living in a smaller town makes it difficult to find a job that I can slide into.

Ouch.  So did you neglect yourself or did the USMC neglect you?  I'm somewhat confused.

Not to necro-thread; but they've put me on ignore.

Well, my CoC has anyway. Tricare and the hospital they put me in dropped the ball.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day.
Fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way.  :rock

 :aok

It got old after the first few days.  I finally quit playing after 83 turns with one of my friends and 20-30 turns with several other people.

Yep. At first it was funny to watch people see how they guessed your drawing, but I always skip it now. Seems a lot of people just write the word now.

Yeah, that pissed me off.  The person I went over 80 turns with played right.  We never used words, just pictures...like you're supposed to.  But just like everything else, everyone looked for the easy way and avoided any kind of challenge.
