Title: When the AH God of War smiles down on you..

Ever have one of those nights when it seems nothing can stop you?  Been a couple years since I've had a night like that, but I guess tonight the planets were all in alignment or something. 5 sorties, 19 kills, no deaths.  I look forward to a few years from now when it happens to me again. :)

u shouldnt feel to good cause that sooner is easy to shoot down mostly he ups 24s or 25s and ya shoot main bomber and he bails
Most kills on him is up in the 40s i believe

I love those nights, and same as you, they happen to me every couple years or so.

The K/D is great when it's high, but the ones that make me the happiest regardless of whether I win or lose are the nights where it feels like I can hit what I'm aiming at no matter what the angle is, and am putting the plane where I want it.

I know my moment of joy last night in my K4 came as I followed a P38 up that had misjudged my E badly and put 2 taters into the cockpit as he was in perfect planform coming over the top.  The plane literally filled the windscreen when I pulled the trigger.  Nothing spectacular about it, but it was one of those moments when everything leading up to it just went right.

Last time I had one of those nights it was myself winged up with Badcore in P-47-D-11's. We fought nine Fw-190-A-8's of the newly formed JG11 squadron. After dispatching that lot we were jumped by a F4u and a pair of La-7's. Was very fun time that i'll never forget.

Momentous occasion for me (one who rarely lands kills in a fighter anymore) last night when I got down & dirty on the deck with my Pony-D against a C-hog... and I actually won the turnfight. :confused:
