Any chance we could get assult guns and SPG's?

Sturmpanzer IV Series 4. Known as the "Brummbär" ('grouch' in german) to the allies, and the Stupa (a contraction of Sturmpanzer) to the Germans.

Gun: 150mm StuH 43/1 L/12 with 38 rounds.  It could fire, HE, smoke, HEAT, and demolition shells.
Armor: 100mm on the front
Speed: 25mph

Why should we get this? Because it would make one HELL of an assult gun. The HE rounds carried 18lbs of high explosives, which is more than the weight of an entire 75mm shell. It would tear up a town in nothhing flat, and would be hard to take out from the front, but would have very limited anti-armor capabilities, as it had no AP shell, and HTC doesn't seem to want to model HEAT shells (Panzer IV F).


Wespe:
Gun: 105mm leFH 18M L/28 howtizer with 40 rounds carried, and a range of 6.6 miles (11,675yds)
Armor 5-30mm
Speed: 25mph

It would be perfect for our first SPG because it would give us a good, decently armred, but lightly armored SPG, with good manuverability. With a range of 11.5k, you could hit almost any target at spawn in, and would even be usefull for anti-CV opperations.

It could use a modified land gunner system, where you click on the map, and it gives you a range and bearing, but then you have to manually aim the gun. You would aim the gun in the general direction of your target, and then use the same keys as the ship guns to fine tune your aim.

It would also have a ship gunner style of aiming, where your view is independent of the gun. This would allow us to better aim at targets within line of sight.

Because its a 105mm weapon, its not like you'll be taking out multiple buildings with a single shell, or killing tanks with the blast, or anything. It probably wouldn't need to be perked even, since its anti-armor capabilities are essentially nil, and it has a maximum of 30mm of armor.

These have been asked for time and time again. I think we need to get the Plane set updated first. Such as more Japanese, Russian, and some of the other Allied AC no ingame such as the Beuafighter, and then work on the SP's. Id also like to see them FIX the T34 series. Those things are getting damned near invincible. When I can shoot 1 in the turret at point blank range and as he is smoking he fires a 1 shotter killing my Panther because I somehow hit his engine...well, that speaks for itself doesn't it???

Of course the Turret is the most heavily armored part on a T34.
  Also where did he hit your panther?

Lol, I know this MK my friend, but I hit T34s all the time in turret and one shot knock it out...and he hit me right in the front. Im not sayin that it was lucky or anything...was more about the shot him in the turret and didnt turret him lol.

between the panther turret and base theres a very good weak point you can hit that'll turret or knock a panther out immediately with one shot

I agree with bar, and if you're forced with a frontal shot against a T34/85  (try not to be forced for a frontal shot on any tank)  Hit it exactly where the upper hull meets the bottom hull, do not ever bother with the turret, it's too heavily armoured compared with the rest of the tank.

   Even at almost 45% angles and ranges of 1200, a Panzer stands a pretty solid chance of knocking one out on the first hit, although I wouldnt bank on this, it certainly doesnt work every time, and your aim has to be spot on.

     In the end, if you want a one shot kill, aim for the sides or rear of any tank at the least amount of deflection possible, and make sure the distance is apropriate for the tank you're driving.

     If you attack the frontal armour of any tank, expecially at an oblique angle or at point blank ranges, you have essentially zero argument to make as to why you got wasted ;)

if youre talking panzers hit anywhere but the front hull and it'll be near insta-kill

I meant if you were in a panzer shooting at the enemy, not taking the hits. (110G can actually kill a panzer with a short burst of 30mm given the right angles and attack)

I tried 4-5 times to help you with this information, remember I reviewed your films countless times? You still haven't figured it out and continue to do your way of things if you haven't figured it out maybe because you simply don't get it.

film it, and review it as I said 20 times before - before you whined 24/7 about everything and I explained one film you completely lost it saying the game was broken.

Deflection, deflection, track hit, deflection, track hit, miss miss hit miss miss miss miss deflection most under 1,200 yards in a Panther.....remember this film?
You only faced Panzers and were getting deflection shots under 1,200 yards, I see these once a TOUR because of piss poor aim.

You gotta use the film viewer, your aim can be off slightly and miss a target completely even if you have a hit sprite.

I'm not going to comment on it anymore, I tried enough times and nothing seemed to work, film and review and you have no reason to complain.

     I have a tough time concentrating on the topic when you spelled assult guns twice..sorry, just bugs me  :D  I know grammar and spelling
aren't popular, but it's like an itch I can't scratch.  Assault guns  :D

     Not sure what benefits a StuG or StuH would bring, other than a little more frontal armor.

The StuG or StuH wouldn't bring more armor, but the StuH would bring more firepower. And the Brumbar would bring both. We're talking a 150mm cannon here, firing a shell with 18lbs of HE filler (I think our tank HE shells only have like 1.3lbs of actual HE filler, depending on caliber and model).

yeah the StuH series were powerful HE rollers. the Stugs on the other hand were just similar to the Pnzr 75mm.
