Picked Up Payton... Now they have someone of some quality...
Now they might not choke again when they get into the play offs. And when they win, its because they were better than the other team and not just luckier...
-
They better have a darn good offensive line. Peyton is kinda fragile and a hard hit that hurts his neck could leave him paralyzed. I don't wish that on him at all. I kind of like the guy as a player. He is weak from the injury yet and getting old for the sport. I wish him well.

Denver has one of the best O-lines in the league. I truly think that if there was any more risk to Manning versus any other QB his age, he wouldn't attempt to play.
I'm a Bronco fan, so I'm a bit biased... Pairing Manning with a good receiving corps, a top notch running game, and an up and coming defense (Miller, Dumerville, Bailey, Ayers)... Denver will be a tough team this year. Looking at their schedule, they'll have to be.
EDIT: GO BRONCOS!!!!
-
I've always been a Manning fan. I just hope he doesn't hold on too long. Not a big Denver fan but it wouldn't bother me a bit if they managed to get him another ring.

By choke, do you mean something similar to giving up an 80 yard touchdown on the first play of overtime in a wildcard playoff game? Because that would be choking horribly, especially if you were the favored team. :rofl
I am just trying to be clear on the definition of choking. :D
Seriously though, they used to have quite a good quarterback, and with a whole lot of work, Tebow might have been similar to Elway. He surely was exciting to watch. Long term Denver made a mistake, and I am a big fan of the Mannings. I just think both Indy and Denver looked at the short term gain and lost a long term goal.

They demoted from good when they sent off lloyd. The correct way of saying that is a less then average recieving corp, top notch defense and an up and coming running game. He will regret his decision. Mile high, cold, no weapons. They do have a great Oline so he has that going for him. Should of went to san fran. Would have won superbowls every year in san fran.
EDIT: GO BENGALS!!!!
EDIT 2: Could you imagine Manning with Randy Moss, Vernon Davis, Mario Manningham and Frank Gore? Wouldn't have been fair i guess.

A Steeler's fan would post this thread....
A win is a win.....and you shouldn't expect too many of them next year Pittsburgh
-
Im bitter. Titans need him!! :)
-
A tweet they read on the Denver morning news that I thought I'd repeat here....
"Tim Tebow prayed every night and every day for the Broncos to win the next super bowl, so God sent Peyton Manning."
Haha

lol nope, like thinking you were good and getting the crap kicked out of you 45-10.
As for the pass to win against us, I only have to say one thing, and that is one person got burnt and allowed the TD, unlike the entire team which failed to do anything against the Pats.
-
As a Pats fan I can say that though so many people believe Welker let them down, including him, it is a team and like the Steelers, if the entire team had not let it get so close, one mistake would not have lost the game. You win as a team you lose as a team you play as a team, period.

LOL... A win is a win. So true. Kind of like that AFC Title game tying kick from Cundiff? Oh wait... :lol

We will call this a building year for the Steeler's :aok

The Steelers signed Todd Haley as OC.. Not quite sure what you mean there.. am I missing something here?
-
i thought they had pouncey :huh
Bengals gonna hurt the steelers feelings this year WHODEY!

Of Course, but unlike Indy or Denver or a few others, our entire team is not supported by the actions of one person. As in, look at Indy, without Manning, they won one or two games. Denver, they were losing until Tebow came in. We didn't have Big Ben for 4 games last year (2010-2011) but yet we still won.
we have been losing big starters every year for almost the last 5 years... it hasn't stopped us yet...
The Biggest thing about losing Ward and Foote was the mentorship they could offer. Hines for whatever reason didn't play much of last year, though i don't think it was because of him. Foote will be a big loss on Defense however. Smith was injured, and i think all the others were also injured if i remember correctly.
BTW, today, Hines officially retired, saying he couldn't play for any other team.

And all we have is Jerry and his three ring circus of failure since Jimmy left :cry
But we got a DEATHSTAR out of it and it looks really really cool. Look at it.. no no LOOK AT IT!!! (http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2009/0521/travel_a_stadium1_sw_576.jpg)
We even had an (iced in, boring, failmobile of a) 'Super'bowl in it and everything.
We're still relevant dang it!!!!

OC = Offensive Coordinator, Pouncey plays center.
Like I said, Haley was hired after Arians left the Steelers. I don't really like Haley, but I never really liked Arians either. I'll give Arians the credit he deserves as he did lead us to the playoffs nearly every year he was the OC including 2 AFC title victories and 1 Super Bowl. But I never really liked his play calling.
That being said, I'm curious as to what JunkyII meant when he said they got Ravens OC?
Regarding the Bengals, The AFC North is the toughest division in football period, we constantly put two and this last year three teams in the playoffs every year. Excited this year as I'm going to the Redskins - Steelers game definitely with a few of my long time friends who are Redskins fans.

My bad Ravens DC, Pagano went to Indy with Steelers OC, Arians. You still got Tebow'd in the playoffs. :D
As for the deadskins let's see if GF3 or whatever his name is can live up to the hype. Lost interest in them after signing that fatazz Haynesworth. Redskins are still paying for that loser.
