Ok, is there an alternate way of viewing the AH films other then the ahfilm.exe program?
I find the interface for that very un-friendly.
Also, of late, the progress bar does not proceed across the top and I am unable to copy out a start-end segment.
I would like to download the ahfilm.exe all by itself just in case somehow mine took a 20mm hit. But I do not want to have to re-install the entire game.
I have looked on the AH page to see a separate link for the ahfilm.exe download but have not seen it.
I am starting to learn more and more from watching the films...(usually accompanied by..."why did I do that" comments to myself) but these glitches aren't helping.
Thanks in advance, Chauncy

My slider fixed itself a few days ago. In the meantime you can grab times with the camera shots tool. Time will be displayed in seconds so if it says 366 is the time, it means 6 minutes and 6 seconds.
You can also put in the times manually and click the 'goto start' button and it will take you to the desired time in the film.

The film viewer depends on the game data to be able to render the images. Even if another option existed (it doesn't) to view a film, you would still need the game data installed in order for it to play.
There are some issues in the current film viewer which are being addressed in the next patch.

Ok, I'm bumping this because I'm finally starting to collect films and I want to be able to edit a little, however like Chauncy stated. It's very unfriendly for me. It crashes, when I rewind to look at a segment again, often one set of my guns will just continue to fire, and or the bogie whose six I was on will not be there, the sound may or may not be there, the list go on.
Any info for me?
