-
I kinda killed Wednesday Babe....it wasn't intentional, but it happened. I'm sorry.

I think it got banned. Too many other people trying to "help" and it got out of hand.

And you must always feel bad about it. Always.

You can thank cattb and tupac for killing the 'Wednesday babe' threads. This will be the last.

As much as I want to be able to laugh at the picture and situation and not get my panties in a twist. I really can't. Not Yet. Probably Never. In that cloud of smoke, and debris, and fire are PEOPLE. Ughhhh.

Just because you're allowed to do stupid things doesn't necessarily mean you should.

OT: I didn't make it, recalled seeing it a few months/weeks ago on the interwebs and googled it. I find it in bad-humor in regards to the actual tragedy, but the irony/coincidence when applied here to the topic at hand and Tupac's long-time avatar (but, likely very few other Nyan-cat related things) ... well, aproriate is not a word I'd ever use, but the peg fits the hole.
I honestly can't edit it out any longer, too much time has elapsed. You have my permission to request/report it to be edited out (if you think it's worth somebody else's effort or are that offended).

I agree, dont think we'll see pearl harbor used for comedic value anytime soon (it now being the year 2012) either. As I said, I have no idea who created it and what for, but for my application here it wasn't supposed to be funny. I think though, scratching my chin on it, it might of over-pegged the irony meter though.
Interesting topic though to spark up. I personally don't think, like pearl harbor, it will ever be an "acceptable" tragedy. But looking back now in it, over a decade later... I think the offending "burn" it impacted on all of us who witnessed that day has been subsiding... It's still there, it hasn't been that long, but imho I think we're starting to heal. I don't think we'll ever get over the scar though it has left.

I take no personal offense and I will not go as far as to say that I haven't chuckled at a joke in regards to 9/11, as bad as that sounds. Humor keeps the world rolling without it life would suck dick. I just know that me who can laugh at just about anything thinks that there may be a touch of something wrong. Then I know that someone else is beyond extremely offended.

Maybe not, but you certainly brought it here and propagated it. Fortunately Skuzzy took care of it.
