Title: Squad art?

 I wish to know why my squad art is not showing up?  It is in my folder yet does not show up on my planes or tanks!

Did you upload it from the Tower/O'Club squad link for Skuzzy's approval?

You ave to use the game to upload it (in the squads management page "Upload Noseart"), then I have to review it and install it.

ok I went into the Oclub and to squads pushed upload nose art and I get a message below that says  install it into my folder  I thought I had already done that.
 maybe I am missing something!

You have to place the nose art in the "squads" folder where the game is installed.  It has to be named using your name (assuming you are the CO).

Example: If your game ID is "Bob", then you would place a bitmap in the "squads" folder named "bob.bmp".

yep it is there  under WWhiskey

Has to be all lower case.  If the game is complaining about the file not being found, then you need to make sure you are not putting the art into an older installation which is at a different path, or you have the game installed in the "Program Files" folder and are using Windows 7 or Vista.  In which case, the "squads" folder is not going to be where the game is actually installed.

Are you sure it has the ".bmp" extension?

no not really,,  I will work on it more    thanks!  I changed it to bmp from jpeg but it still is not rite  I know whats wrong  I just have to figure out how to change it a bit, a friend made it for me  as I am not nearly as up to speed as he  in these things!!  thanks!

It cannot be a jpg.  Simply changing the name is not going to allow it to work.  There is a specific format for nose art.  It has to be an 8 bit/256 color indexed bitmap.
